Born in Salt Lake City and raised in Saint George, Dr. Benjamin G. Carter is a graduate of Dixie State College and the University of Utah.  He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was recognized for his academic excellence with his election to the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2005.  As a dermatology resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin he was voted the Outstanding Medical Student Educator for Dermatology in 2009.  His specialty training includes pediatric skin conditions such as birthmarks, moles, warts, rashes and eczema and adult skin conditions such as cysts, rosacea, skin cancer and complex skin disease such as lupus.  He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Society of Pediatric Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.  He is licensed in both Utah and Wisconsin.  Read more: KCSG Television – Dr Benjamin G Carter Joins Southern Utah Dermatology and Surgical Arts
