Established by Dr. Grant L. Carter in 2005, Southern Utah Surgical and Laser Aesthetics has thrived as the premier surgical aesthetic clinic in southern Utah. Encouraged by requests from his gynecology patients, Dr. Carter began to invest his time and energy into specialized cosmetic training. Along with his longtime friend and associate, Dr. Gayle M. Carter, they have provided both non-invasive cosmetic services such as botox and fillers as well as more invasive surgical procedures such as abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, tumescent liposuction and the Quicklift facelift. Together, they have over 40 years of combined surgical experience and were the first providers of laser surgery in southern Utah.
In July, 2010, Drs. Grant and Gayle opened their new clinic on Riverside Drive. ”With a larger space we were able to combine our cosmetic and gynecologic practices under one roof.” In addition Grant’s son, Dr. Benjamin G. Carter joined the practice expanding the services to include not only aesthetic and gynecologic services but comprehensive pediatric and adult dermatologic care. With the addition of so many services the clinic was renamed, Southern Utah Dermatology and Surgical Arts.
